Setting Up Device Sharing on the PowerDot App (IOS Devices)Updated a year ago

The PowerDot app offers “Device Sharing” for Apple users (not available for Android) with up to 4 other Apple users. To access Device Sharing, follow these steps:

Preparation

• Prior to setting up “Device Sharing,” have team member(s) create their profiles via the app on their Apple device.
• Allow for app notifications to accept the “Device Sharing” invite.

Steps to Set Up Device Sharing

1. Pair your PowerDots to your app on your Apple device.
2. Tap on “My Device,” the second to last icon on the bottom right.
3. Tap on “Set Up Device Sharing.”
4. Turn on by tapping on the slider.
5. “Add Team Member(s)” by entering/adding the email associated with their PowerDot profile.
6. The team member will receive an “in-app” notification to accept the PowerDot Bluetooth pairing.

Completion

• “Device Sharing” is now complete!
• Ensure other team members have their Bluetooth turned off if they are nearby to avoid connectivity issues.
