How to Check the Status of an Item Fulfillment (IF)Updated a year ago

Overview

This article provides step-by-step instructions to help agents efficiently check the status of an Item Fulfillment within NetSuite.

Step 1: Locate and Open the Sales Order

  1. Search for the Sales Order:
    • Use the search bar to find the Sales Order associated with the Item Fulfillment you want to check.
    • Select the Sales Order from the search results to open it.

Step 2: Scroll to the Sales Order Sublist

  1. Access Additional Options:
    • Scroll down to the bottom of the Sales Order page.
    • Find and select the 'Related Records' option to view more details.


 

Step 3: Review Available Records

  1. Find Item Fulfillment Records:
    • Look for the Item Fulfillment records listed in the 'Related Records' section.
    • These records are linked to the Sales Order.

Step 4: Click on the Found Item Fulfillment

  1. View Detailed Information:
    • Click on the relevant Item Fulfillment entry.
    • This will open a detailed view of the Item Fulfillment.

Note:

  • Common statuses for Item Fulfillment include "Picked," "Packed," or "Shipped."

 

Item Fulfillment Status Breakdown

Understanding the status of an Item Fulfillment is crucial for efficient order management. Below is a detailed breakdown of common statuses:

1. Picked -The items have been picked from the inventory but are not yet packed..

2. Packed- The items have been picked and packed, ready for shipment.

3. Shipped- Tracking has been generated and items are considered to be shipped to the customer.
